Mary’s Pence Seeks Executive Director

Mary’s Pence is a mid-sized non-profit that promotes Catholic social justice by directing donated resources to small women’s projects in the Americas. With guidance from grassroots women, we offer resources and training to increase women’s economic power, foster their education and expand their leadership as they transform their lives, the lives of their families and their communities. Executive Director reports to the Board of Directors.
Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of Mary’s Pence including - Organizational Leadership and Management - Fundraising and Development -Program Development -Networking and Public Outreach. Qualifications of the Ideal Candidate:

• Five years experience managing a nonprofit organization
• Demonstrated commitment to Catholic social justice and the essential role of women within it including Catholic social justice ministry development
• Knowledge of women’s issues in Latin America and the Caribbean
• Business knowledge or corporate background and willingness to travel
• The ability to lead, coupled with an ability and enthusiasm for collaboration
• Experience to hire, train, motivate and supervise support staff as required
• Experience in fundraising from both foundations and individuals
• Experience in grant making and grants management
• Excellent communication skills, creativity, kindness and a sense of humor
• Masters level education - Spanish speaking and comprehension a benefit
• Computer proficiency including website and database management
