I’ve become a great fan of k.d. lang’s latest album, she’s a musical nomad.  But, more than that, Lang is someone who has evoked the Buddhist and caused me to  migrate toward meditation.  As a theologian, trained at 2 different Protestant schools, this might seem odd.  However, finding a pace of meditation and rhythm is something that actually warms my heart.  I have found her wisdom helpful where she talks about her singing:

“I think that is age and wisdom,” she decides. “It’s like a painter discovering earth tones again in a whole new way or a chef coming back down to the Alice Waters level of cooking, where sea salt is the absolutely perfect spice
