Guilford College will be holding its first annual Gender & Sexism Conference on April 14th. The gender-aware, student-organized conference is meant to address issues of gender, sexism, and violence. Workshops will include “Sexism in the Classroom,” “Working with Survivors of Sexual Assault,” and “Confronting Male Privilege.” The conference will begin at 10 am and last until 4 pm, but we invite you to attend any workshops that you can. Food will be provided. If you are able to attend, please RSVP to skanter@guilford.edu as soon as possible. More details will be sent out at a later date.
