I have begun my reading of Braidotti’s Nomadic Subjects, a helpful resource of nomadology/nomadic theory, feminist theory, and sexual difference.
I am finding myself fascinated with Braidotti’s writing. Now, for the second or third time, returning to Braidotti’s work, I am seeing the integration of personal narrative and critical analysis allowing the text to appear living and breathable, opposed to lifeless and static. A Book Précis should follow. I will post it after I post the Anzaldua Précis.
I’m hoping that these posts will generate some discussion from students who are currently working on the intersections of gender, ethnicity, philosophy and cultural studies. I see that I geet the reads on here, but there aren’t too many comments…I wonder why that is? Perhaps talking virtually about these subjects is challenging? I’d like to think that this sort of medium is inviting and helpful to have some process reflection and critical, though virtual, discussions.
